I gave birth to my second daughter, Jasmine, on March 19th, 2013.
Melina makes a great big sister- always trying to help especially since Jazzy happened to be a colicky baby.
Whenever I was rushing around to clean, cook or accomplish something and Jazzy was exercising her vocal cords, I would say in a soothing voice "It's okay baby, shh, you are okay" and usually I'd follow with the same soothing voice "I know .. I know baby" in an effort to understand her tears.
Well my little mini me running this household brought a smile to my lips one day. Jazzy screams were filling the room and I was rushing to finish the task at hand and Melina.. my darling Melina propped herself on a chair and proceeded to bounce Jasmine in her bouncer, all the while saying, in the same high pitched soothing voice "I know baby, I know.. it's okay shhhh"
My little helper, what would I do without you.
